Originally coined by Revolutionary War hero General John Stark who many believe was inspired by Patrick Henry’s famous “Liberty or Death” speech, the phrase Live Free or Die unequivocally sends a message about our nation’s founding values. We treasure our freedom above all else. Freedom is fragile. Hundreds, if not thousands, of great revolutions have occurred throughout the world. Many have carried this very motto – Live Free or Die – and yet our country delivers the truest set of personal freedoms seen anywhere in the course of mankind. Live. Free. Or. Die.
