Can You Wear the American Flag as Clothing?

"Unless an article of clothing is made from an actual United States flag, there is NO breach of flag etiquette whatsoever. People are simply expressing their patriotism and love of country by wearing an article of clothing that happens to be red, white, and blue with stars and stripes. There is nothing illegal about the wearing or use of these items.''

Meet This Patriotic Father/Son Duo Showing Off Their Flag Shirts!

This month's Patriot Highlight is a dad and son duo! Meet Flag Shirt customers Phil and Al Marcotulio. They're proudly wearing a fan favorite: the Mt. Rushmore polo! They're pictured above sporting it on a recent Independence Day. Phil was drafted during the Korean War and was fortunate to have been sent to Germany for his 18 month deployment where he met his wife and started his family. Meet The Oldest Living Pearl Harbor Survivor

Joseph C. Eskenazi turned 105 earlier this year, and is the oldest known survivor of the Pearl Harbor attacks. He had enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1941, just mere months before the attacks occurred. That morning, he was awoken from his Schofield Barracks room just 17 miles from Pearl Harbor. He ran outside and witnessed a low-flying Japanese airplane drop a bomb about 150 feet away. Eskenazi, just 22 years old at the time, immediately raised his hand to volunteer to help clear bombed-out railroad tracks so other soldiers could move heavy equipment and repair the airfield.
